Steal An Egg Gifting: Give a Pet and Understand Exchanges
Know what leaves your inventory when you give an item, and confirm what the current menu actually protects.
GameBoost’s September 25 guide describes a Give option for a nearby player in the same server and says there is no protected in-game trading system. Under that report, an informal exchange is two separate gifts. Check the current menu before proceeding; do not assume the second transfer is guaranteed by the first.
A gift is a one-way transfer
The guide describes selecting a pet or egg, being close enough to another player, and confirming a Give action. It says the item leaves the giver and appears for the recipient. It also states that no system holds both players’ items until both confirm. These claims are source reports and have not been reproduced in a current session here.
Check the recipient and exact copy
- Make sure you intend a gift or understand the separate-transfer nature of an exchange.
- Find the intended player in the same session and compare the displayed recipient identity.
- Select the exact item copy, including its species, weight and mutations.
- Read the current Give prompt and any confirmation.
- Proceed only when the item and recipient match your intent.
- Check your inventory change and, for a voluntary gift, ask the recipient to inspect their result.
Several copies with the same species name can have different value to your base. Record the specific copy before selecting it. Keeping a screenshot of the confirmation can help explain a mistake later, but it does not create an undo function or protect a promised return gift.
What a two-sided exchange would need
Swipe or scroll sideways to see all columns.
| Expectation | Evidence needed in the menu |
|---|---|
| Both items move together | The current interface holds and transfers both sides |
| Both sides approve | Each participant can review and confirm the final offer |
| The offered copy is fixed | Changes force a new confirmation |
| An accidental gift can be undone | A visible, documented reversal process |
If the interface only shows your item and a recipient, that action alone does not establish a simultaneous exchange. An outside seller’s delivery instructions also do not prove such a feature exists in the game. Judge the actual transfer controls rather than the word “trade” in a listing.
Alternatives for a spare pet
Keep a useful duplicate, plan an ordinary fusion with other disposable copies, or send a voluntary gift you are willing to give without a return. For a Secret Shrine collaboration, inspect the pedestal process separately; advance gifting is not implied by the reported recipe.
Supported targets, transfer restrictions, confirmation wording and any new exchange feature require a current session check.
Common questions
Can I trade pets in Steal An Egg, and where is the trade button?
The reviewed guide reports gifting but no protected trading system. Check the current interface; a pair of gifts is not evidence of simultaneous exchange.
How do I gift or give pets to another player?
The source describes approaching the recipient in the same server, selecting the pet or egg and using Give. Verify the recipient and current confirmation before transferring.
