Steal An Egg Base Upgrades and Pet Index Bat Rewards
Separate active-pet slots, treadmill progression and bat rewards so each purchase or collection task has a clear purpose.
A base-capacity upgrade can let more pets earn together; treadmill upgrades address Speed training. For bat rewards, a September guide reports claiming completed biome sets in the Pet Index. Read your current capacity and reward panel before spending: old Rift Shop instructions may describe a system replaced by the newer Lab.
Read the active-pet counter before buying
The Wiki’s base guide identifies an Active counter as the occupied count over the current capacity. It distinguishes extra active capacity from changes to a pet’s weight or income multiplier. Its captured early levels do not all add exactly one slot, so the button and resulting capacity matter more than a generic “+1” description.

| Problem | Compare | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Useful pet cannot be active | Next capacity offer and added slots | Every base level has the same slot increase |
| Training is too slow | Treadmill and Trail gains | More slots directly raise Speed |
| Incomplete Index reward | Missing entries and claim state | A hatch automatically equips a new bat |
| Old shop no longer visible | Current interface and update scope | A dated Rift route still exists |
Value a capacity purchase by the added earner
Use the pet you would activate as the benefit. If an illustrative slot costs 30,000 and lets an otherwise inactive pet add 100 money per second, the simple payback is 300 seconds, or five minutes. That assumes the price is paid once, the rate stays constant and the slot actually adds that earner. If it replaces an existing pet instead, calculate the difference in rates.
Claim a Pet Index reward deliberately
AllThingsHow’s September 25 article reports a biome collection route: open the Index, select the relevant World page, complete its required entries, then use the reward’s claim control. The same article also lists the old Rift Shop and Admin events, so its acquisition paths should be checked against the current update.
- Open the Index and choose the biome set you are working on.
- Read its current required entries; do not assume every set has an identical total.
- Collect and hatch the missing entries.
- When the page shows completion, use the visible claim control.
- Check the reward in your equipment menu and distinguish the skin’s appearance from any displayed gameplay effect.
If the reward does not appear
Check whether the entry registered, whether the correct set is complete, and whether the reward was claimed. Record the panel state before repeating a purchase or collection task. A cosmetic name or shape alone is not a measurement of knockback or boss damage.
Current slot costs, exact reward effects and the survival of older shop routes have not been tested here.
Common questions
How do I equip more pets and increase base capacity?
The base guide describes more active-pet capacity. Check how many slots the next level actually adds; it does not directly multiply an individual pet’s income.
How do I unlock a better bat?
A September guide reports completing biome Pet Index sets and claiming the reward. Old Rift Shop and Admin-event paths need a current-interface check.
